Looking for chickens for my flock

I found some chickens to start my flock with. I have been doing some research. I thought they would lay eggs right away but they haven’t. Any ideas on why?

Either the birds haven’t started laying yet or sometimes when they are getting used to new surroundings, they may stop laying for a while. They should start laying again. It may take some time.
